Every person working or volunteering with minors in PA must have a PA Criminal Background check, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and a Federal Criminal Background check performed. If you have lived in the State of PA for 10 consecutive years there is a waiver you can sign as a volunteer to forego the Federal Background check.
